We chose red accents for our perforated straps as we feel it would be perfect for most racing chronographs on the market. Many racing dials have unique accent colours for visibility in one glance and in order to incorporate the idea of that, we decided to keep majority of the strap black to maintain a conservative image but with tinge of red.The strap comprises of 2 layers of leather, the top layer we used a soft matte black leather and on the under layer, we padded the strap with a dyed leather. Through the perforations made on the black leather layer, the hints of the color of the dyed strap is visible and these are then put together with a colored stitch ensuring durability. We have also decided to offer this on a deployant clasp as we feel tang buckles simply do not work on sporty watches.
